F.D. Dock Company account book, 1841-1856.

Ledger of the F. D. Dock Co., a floating dry dock company at Algiers, La., lists accounts with Mississippi River boats and other vessels and related fiscal entries for dock fees, repairs, interest, insurance and labor. Entries for stock and cash payments include the names of Peter Marcy, who constructed the first dock at Algiers, and Bailey and Marcy, owners of the first large dry dock at Algiers.
